Islam is a way of life that regulates all affairs of life perceived in the tangible world, so you see that the ruling of the Sharia extends to every field of life, from industry and trade to medicine and social life, and it is not limited to acts of worship or creed, as some suppose. Etiquette is a Western word meaning the manners of coexisting with society and the universe around the person, and in this sense it is an Islamic product that the West took from us and adapted with modern methods, in line with the customs of their societies and freed from some moral restrictions. The system of living (etiquette) differs according to customs, cultures, and moral and religious values. In the book before us, “The Origin of Etiquette Is a Refined Islamic Manner”, the author shows the role of Islam in the emergence of refined manners of living, which the West has termed etiquette, and shows that Muslims taught the West and Europe all the principles of etiquette. A Muslim may take pride in his religion and its legislation, which brought humanity out of the darkness into the light.
