Hawamech Company (“Hawamech”, “we”) sells books online at https://hawamech.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. You can reach us at info@hawamech.com.

What we collect

Account and order details: name, email, phone number, delivery and billing address, and order history.
Payment information: card and online payments are processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers. Bank transfer details are used only to match your payment.
Loyalty data: points, rewards and gift card balances linked to your account.
Technical data: IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and analytics.
Messages you send us through the contact form or by email.

How we use it

We keep the data you give us when you register or buy private and secure, and we use it only inside Hawamech to: ship your orders with our logistics partners, track your orders, take payment and prevent fraud, provide customer support and run the rewards programme, send order and account emails, improve your shopping experience, and send you Hawamech’s exclusive offers. We send newsletters and offers only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for the cart, checkout and login, and optional cookies for analytics. You can control cookies in your browser settings. When you log in we set cookies to remember your login and screen preferences. If you select “Remember me”, your login lasts about two weeks.

We share data only as needed to serve you, with delivery and courier companies, payment providers, email and communication services, and hosting and security providers. We never sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or export your personal data, or to delete your account completely, at any time through our official channels: email info@hawamech.com or use our contact form. After deletion we keep only what the law requires, such as order records for accounting.
